What Causes Vomiting And Severe Abdominal Pain?
My son who is 22 has been experiencing abdominal pain for quite sometime. Sunday night into monday afternoon, he was vomiting quite a bit along with abnormal stools. He felt somewhat better the next day however stomach still hurt. Today after work, he worked out, had dinner and was watching tv. All of a sudden just started to throw up again with severe stomach pain.

Yes vomiting and abdominal cramps can be caused by abdominal problems such as
1 Food poisoning
2 Gastritis
3. colitis
4. intestinal obstruction
Investigations
1. Full haemogram Rule out bacterial infection
2 Stool ova and cyst
3. H phylori test
4. abdominal x Ray /Ct scan
5 Endoscopy
Treatment
Anti imetic Placil/ multivitamin
Proton pump inhibitors - Omepraxole, isomeprazole,
Anti acids - magnesium triciliicate
If no releive consult gastrenterologust
