What Causes Vomiting And Sore Throat?

I have a son who is not feeling well. He has been vomiting. A few times yesterday and a few times today. He also has a mild sore throat. His Temp is 98.9. He can t get into his regular doctor and I don t really want to take him to a walk in clinic. He has missed 2 days of classes and is now needing a note.

Hello,

He can have acute pharyngitis like infective etiology which can lead sore throat and vomiting. For vomiting stoppage, Ondensteron MD mouth dissolving tablet can be prescribed.

Salt water gargle done with warm water three times a day, drink lots of water and give him vital Z like powder with mixing to water. Avoid excess spicy foods.

If gastritis associated than Rabeprazole can be prescribed. For sore throat, Levocetirizine drug once a day for five days can be prescribed. Also, consult physician for examination and get prescription.
