What Causes Vomiting And White Stool In A Kid?

My 9 month old son has had vomiting for around 5 days. His appetite, sleeping and general disposition have been unusual. For the past two days, his stools have been white. Is this something to worry about now or something to consult our doctor when the office opens? (I have tried the on call pager, but no one has returned the page.)
