What Causes Vomiting, Diarrhea And Pain Below The Ribs?
In the last couple of months I have had a couple of episodes of vomiting and simultaneous diahrea followed by slowly getting my appetite back and pain in the right side below the ribs. I have almost continuous pain in the middle upper stomach area. Is this an ulcer? The first episode I lost 4 lbs. I m sure I lost a couple more from this 2nd episode.

It could be due to severe gastritis secondary to acid reflux. As a first line management, you can take antacids like pantoprazole or omeprazole for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and plan for an endoscopy.
