What Causes Vomiting, Dizziness And Hearing Loss After Taking Cefalexin Sandoz?
My son cut his leg open on a steel stake and had to have stitches inside the leg and externally. He was given Cefalexine Sandor antibiotics and about 6 days later suffered from vomiting, dizziness and hearing loss. The doctors said it was Labyrinthine and had no connection with the antibiotics. Too much of a coincidence and I am sure it is this antibiotic that has cause his middle ear issue. It is his last day on the antibiotics today. If it is them causing this condition has it caused irreversible damage or will it clear up.

I think your doctor is right as these antibioitics are not toxic for ear, so there is no problem of irreversible damage, as you are thinking. You should show your child to ENT specialist after 15 days to make sure that disease is clear and every thing is ok in ear.
