What Causes Vomiting Followed By Fever And Body Ache?
My 9 year old son came home from school and has been vomiting since 5:30pm. He can t stop vomiting. Now its all Bio. Every single time he tries to drink a sip a fluid, it does not stay down. He has a rash and a low grade fever of 100.1. He has the chills and his body aches. Can I give him something for the vomiting?

Hi,
It is due to gastrointestinal infection from contaminated food and water that he developed such symptoms. As soon as infection controls he will feel ok.
He needs proper antibiotic coverage of Amoxicillin, syrup of Domperidone and Paracetamol for a few days. This will end infection in one week and he will return back normal.
Do one thing feed him light meals, soup, and juice.
