What Causes Vomiting Followed By Total Vision Loss For Few Minutes?
Good morning. My 14 yr old daughter has experienced total vision loss for about 2 min before throwing up. This happened this morning and 2 times prior within the last 2 years. She has been on a vegetarian diet for almost a year taking a one a day multi vitamin for women. Should this be treated as an emergency?

Yes, You should consult your eye doctor immediately. If she has headache during vomitting, some visual phenomenon before vomitting, they are signs of problems in the brain (not mental disorders). She might need an MRI/CT scan so consult your eye doctor and a physician too.
Also she has to undergo eye and other examinations as per physician on a regular basis
