What Causes Vomiting In A Child?

Hi my 4 years old was helping me cleaning her toys with paper towels and Mr. Clean. Obviously she used it too much and later probably licked her hands. After 5-6 hrs she start vomit. Once a lots , and than after she went to sleep, every time she wakes up she is vomiting just some foamy liquid in small amount ( 3 more times) no fever so far. Is it very serious?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is likely she might have also drank some of the cleaning solution as it is very common for children to do so when they are in contact with it.
It does not generally have an antidote or specific medication to be used but it is important to have her drink plenty of fluids in frequent small amounts.
Very likely she will be fine but it is best to call your doctor so he can give you a phone number of toxicological services which you can consult to know if there is anything else you need to do.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
