What Causes Vomiting Inspite Of Giving Ranitidine And Metoclopramide In Infants?

My son is 1month old n he is vomiting after almost every feed..He is very restless untill he vomits after feed...and then he behaves normal.... . He does the same even if i give him formula... i m worried that is he having proper diet? My pediatrician prescribed Rantidine and metoclopramide hydrochloride..... even after 5days of this treatment, situation is same.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

As suggested by the medication given by the doctor, he may have reflux. This would cause the vomiting that you mentioned.

He should be weighed to make sure that he is still gaining weight appropriately.

He may need to get slightly smaller feeds. In some instances, if they feed too much at a time, they bring out some the feed.
