What Causes Vomiting Post An Operation For Myoma?

My Girlfriend just finished operation for myoma yesterday and get a blood transfusion at the same time but this morning she vomits and the doctors put her in sleep every four hours...is this normal and how sensitive the case of my girlfriend right now? what should be other alternatives to be done apart from putting her into sleep?
