What Causes Vomiting Post Occasional Intake Of Junk Food?

I have a 10 year old who we don't allow to eat a whole lot of junk food often but when he does he ends up vomiting at the end of the night. Most recently he actually didn't eat that much junk food. He had 1 soda, some popcorn and some candy from a movie and at the end of the night he vomited.

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

Vomiting post occasional intake of junk food is normally due to acidity, indigestion etc. this could also be due to mild gastritis or food poisoning. Carbonated drinks are very common cause of this problem & should be avoided in a 10 year old child.
You should give him healthy foods like whole grains, bread, fruits etc. Avoid heavy foods like burger, fried fries, etc

If problem persists consult a pediatrician
Hope this information helps
