What Causes Vomiting Up Of Blood After Receiving A Vitamin B12 Shot?
My husband received an Vit B12 shot yesterday for gastrovirus, I think, he could not remember. He had been ill and week since last Wednesday, he has been as he says violent vomiting yesterday, can not tolerate toast, boiled egg, or fruit, just ginger ale and he just vomited blood YYYY@YYYY
As he vomited blood, it will not be due to Vit. B12 injection. whether fresh blood vomited or blood is mixed with saliva, Having cough, decreased appetite, weight loss, fever?
Kindly follow up with detailed history to rule out any other chronic conditions.
Treatment mainly depends upon underlying condition. You may require an ultrasound abdomen, chest X-ray, lab. investigations after consultation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
