What Causes Vomiting Up Of Blood During Mornings?

when i wake up in the morning I have blood taste in my mouth and I spit small amounts of blood. 12 months ago i was rushed into hospital vomiting large amounts of blood and was treated for two burst ulcers i my gastric pipe just before my stomach.Also I had a heart attack in 2013 and had two stents fitted..I am on appropriate medication for this, including aspirin. I also take lansoprazole twice a day before food ?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have vomiting up of blood during mornings. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query blood clotting disorders , swelling, irritation, or inflammation of the esophagus lining or acid reflux . I would suggest you to eat light and non spicy , eat at least one hour before going to bed , keep your head elevated while sleeping and eat small and frequent meals . Consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order endoscopy , x-ray of upper respiratory track and ambulatory acidity test . Doctor may prescribe omeprazole , ranitidine or may refer you to ENT specialist for throat problem or dentist for dental infection . Also maintain proper oral hygiene .
