What Causes Vomiting Up Of Blood In An ADHD Patient?

My 21 year old daughter is away at college. She called to say she was vomiting all day. Tonight she said she was vomiting blood. Her room mates took her to the ER.Should we be worried? She ha no chronic illnesses.she takes meds for adhd but that is it.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM ..

She has vomited blood in vomitus and consulted er...

Here it seems that she could have gastric ulcer or severe gastritis leading vomitting...
Although chance less, liver pathology also has to be ruled out ....

She might given pentoprazole tablet for it for at least two week for gastric conditions....

Advise her not to take excess spicy food...
Excess tea, coffe and carbonated drink avoided....

Healthy and balanced diet with more fruits taken....
For liver pathology investigation liver profile investigations and USG done ....

If her condition worsening then consult gastroenterologist for that .
