What Causes Vomiting Up Of Brown Tasteless Liquid During Pregnancy?

Hello, I m 12 weeks, 4 days pregnant and have just been sick. I haven t eaten all morning and it was a brown colour (sorry if I go into too much detail for you, especially so early in the morning!) and tasteless. My morning sickness was awful between 6-10 weeks, but recently it has stopped completely. I am stressed at the moment too which may not help. Is this anything to worry about? Kind regards, Sam

Hi,

The brown vomitus can be more acid secretion in stomach due to empty stomach. This has irritated the gastric lining (mucus membrane) to cause slight old blood in stomach which came as the vomitus you described. Stop fasting. Drink cold milk in sips every 2 hours / suck tab. Gelusil over the counter. Consult your gynecologist for further treatment.
