What Causes Vomiting While On Benzonatate?
i am taking 1 100mg of Benzonatate twice daily. I have had 2 spots of shingles. However, I am vomiting sour mucus, liquid tonight. I started taking this on 5/10. is the vomiting aside effect, and if so, should I continue. i have 20, have taken all but 15.

After going through your medical details, I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that Benzonatete can cause gastric reflux which can induce vomiting too. So it’s recommended for you to stop it immediately and have antiemetic drugs available over the counter, if that doesn’t help then go to ER or consult a physician.
