What Causes Vomiting While On Citalopram?

Hi, my name is Lizbeth and I am 62 yrs old in great health other than this issue. My question is Im taking Citalopram 10mg ......Sometimes after drinking cocktails on a empty stomach, I throw up my food before I get 2 bites down .I don t even know its coming practically. I don t get nausea . The food never makes it down to the stomach. A year ago during an upper GI, my esophagus was widened. Doctors can t figure this out. My Pharmaceutical girlfriend just ask me today, to check out side affects of Citalopram. I also have a drainage at night that causes issues of not being able to swallow because this mucus is thick ,clear, and will not come up or go down. All this started in the last 5 years after moving back to Florida from Texas. Thank you

@ There is chances of nausea , stomach upset from Citalopram .

@ Intensive vomiting are associated with underlying reflux disorder ,
lax gastro esophageal , gastritis , duodenitis , ulcer stomach or
