What Causes Vomiting,diarrhea And Headaches In A Diabetic Person?

I have type 2 diabetes, recently had vomiting, diarrhea and headaches. vomiting was just one time. then the diarrhea persisted but only in the mornings and headache persists through the day. I was treated for h pylori 6 weeks ago with much improved but have been very careful with diet, avoiding spicey and fried food until the other day and thus the onset of above acute condition. what should I do?

Hello,

You are suffering from headache, nausea and vomiting. You have history of being diabetic. Diabetes can often cause nausea and vomiting. These symptoms may be related to blood sugar, side effects of certain medications, diabetes treatments, or complications related to your condition. Low and high blood sugars, diabetic ketoacidosis, pancreatitis, gastroparesis, and low blood pressure can all cause you to feel nauseous or vomit.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP / diabetologist, get all required blood tests and imaging tests done. Get the pathology detected get treated at the earliest. You are suggested to stay well hydrated, take adequate amount of water, soup and juice so that you are not dehydrated.

Dehydration triggers headache and diarrhea is commonly experienced by patients who are diabetic and suffering from IBS, IBD, celiac disease, etc. Get clinically examined by a GP, get treated if you are suffering from the above said diseases. Control your blood glucose level, blood pressure and other vitals as stable as possible.

Stay away from addictions if any.
