What Causes Vomiting, heartburn And Sinus Infection?

How could I tell if I have an ulcer? I am frequently nauseated, especially on an empty stomach. I have recently discovered that milk and chocolate make the nausea much worse. I have vomited on two ocassions (two weeks apart) after evening meals, but have no other symptoms (fever, etc.). Vomiting helps but I usually do not feel better until the next day. Prior to vomiting the first time, I had an extreme case of heartburn the night before. I had been sick with a sinus infection the prior week and had taken a several ibuprofen throughtout that week, which probably caused all of this to start.

Hello
Ibuprofen causes gastritis or hyper acidity and this is the main cause of vomiting in your case.
Nausea is also due to gastritis . So for take some anti allergic medicine for sinus infection ( monteleukast + fexofenadine ) . Try raising the head of your bed about 4 inches with blocks. It might also help to avoid for 2 hours before you lie down . Avoid drinking of alcohol or drinks with caffeine in them , also avoid chocolates ( as you yourself noted in your case) , greasy or spicy food . Take some antacid but if symptoms are sever ( vomiting ) you may need drugs like proton pump inhibitors like pantaloc- D once or twice in day.
Over eating is the main cause of hyper acidity so please avoid.
Hope this information will help you.
