What Causes Walking Difficulty With Broken Toe?

I broke my toe(crushed my bone) like 3 and half months back and the ortho said one month back that my toe is healing well and i need not have to come for another xray. I am having walking difficulties even after 4 months almost i limp when i try to walk fast and since 2 days my toe is giving a tingling sensation as well am just scared and just worried as when i should be able to walk properly without a limp please help me out i do have a walking cats boot do i need to use that again. I am also worried if there is some nerve damage .I dont have an insurance also now.Is this common in toe fracture.
