What Causes Warm Body Temperature After Taking Deviry?

Hello doctor, my wife has taken deviry tablet for getting her period after all the required test of pregnancy as suggested by one of the doctors when we consulted her. After two days of finishing i.e. she finished course on Wednesday and on Friday she observed her body is getting warm. Even at night time it was very hot her hands stomach chick portions. She doest feel like having fever. Is it the side effect of deviry or something else? Do I need to consult the doctor. Thanks for your response.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think you should measure the temperature by a thermometer. If fever is more than 100°F (37.7°C), consult a physician. It can be a side effect of the pill. But, you should rule out other causes if fever is high grade or persists for 2 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Khushboo Priya
