What Causes Warm Sensation From Back Of Knee To Calf?

Hi, I am a 48 year old female. For the past few days I've been getting this warm sensation travelling down from the back of my right knee to the calf area. It happens for just a few seconds and comes back every 15 to 20 minutes. What are the possible causes ?
