What Causes Warm Sensation In Lower Left Leg?

my left lower leg has regular feeling of heat. This is a sensation. Not actual heat. this has been happening every few minutes for some weeks. I notice that there was a spot or bite at the time the symptoms started.
Is this something I should see my MD about?
