What Causes Warm Sensation In The Lower Calf And Foot?

For a few days, I have been getting warm/hot sensation in my lower calf and sometimes foot, but the feeling migrates around rather than spreading. It comes and goes and is not severe, but feels like I m suddenly standing over a heat vent. The skin is not hot to touch, nor is it discolored in any way. By all appearances, it looks fine. There is no pain, just warmth. I am a 47 yo female and in generally good health. Do people get hot flashes in small, localized areas?

it can be peripheral neuritis or vasodialatation.surgeon can examined the part for varicose vein or thrombophlebitis. it may be that you are approaching menopausal age the cause can be related to premenouposal symptoms due to hormonal changes.can be akin to flashing of face.
