What Causes Water Retention In Legs Post Valve Replacement Surgery?

My name is Dan, tomorrow will be 2 weeks since I had a valve replacement because of aortic stenosis, my concern is the water retention, even though I am taking lasix, I am so blown up, my stomach and my left leg, ankle and foot especially. I am also taking potassium, iron, and blood pressure meds, how long is this swelling normal for.

I really appreciate your concern, you have not mentioned the dosages of diuretic you are on because dosages of this need to be increase if no result is there it need to be given in high dose, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
