What Causes Watery Discharge After Periods?

I am on Femulen and have been for about 6 months. My periods have been erratic, almost constant for the last couple of months. I finished a period about 4 days ago and since then have had excessive clear, watery discharge non stop. Should I keep taking the pill in the hope that this will right itself over time?
