What Causes Watery Stools In A 2.5 Month Old?

My girl is 2.5months old.she has been breastfeeding and occasionally on formula(I.e one bottle of 5-6oz) She is frequently passing watery stools...is there a chance that a baby this young moght be suffering from diarrhoea? What number of stools is considered normal for babies

Hello,

It could be due to viral gastroenteritis. Continue breastfeeding to prevent dehydration.

If symptoms persist better to consult a paediatrician and get evaluated.
