What Causes Wavy Vision, Tingling In Arm With Ruptured Disc In Neck?
I am 57 year old male. Today after leaving a grocery store and getting into my vehicle, my vision became wavy and broken. If you can envision a TV screen, the upper left quadrant was the only part of my vision affected. I closed my left eye and it was there, and closed my right eye and it was there. My left arm began to tingle. I thought I may be having a stroke. I was only 5 minutes from home. I got home, carried three small bags of groceries inside. I stood next to my kitchen sink and didn't know what to do. finally after about 5 minutes it cleared up. I do have diabetes type II. I checked my blood sugar and it was fine. I have three ruptured discs in my neck. C4, 5 & 6. These discs are deforming my spinal cord and I am due for corrective surgery on March 24. What do you think may have caused this vision problem?
From your history it looks to me that your diabetes may be the cause of this eye problem. It causes damage to retina and patient can ave vision issue. My advice to you is that you should get your eye examine by eye specialist. Also for future any diabetic person should get his eye checked regularly at least once in a year.Your cervical disc has nothing to do with it. Some time disc can decrease blood supply of brain leading to giddiness though.
