Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello I am a 52 year old male and about a year ago as I would urinate I would squeeze the head of my penis to stop peeing and letting it build up pressure and continue peeing. I had been doing that for a while with no problems. Then I noticed blood when I would pee and it would burn real bad.l called my doctor and he took a urine sample and it came back negative of showing any blood or disease.but he gave me a antibiotic just in case of an infection. Well I no longer squeeze the head of my penis while urinating but I noticed that before all that happened I had a normal erection and it stood straight out. Now when I get an erection it is a lot smaller and it curves upward and tends to feel like it wants to get harder but can t. What damage did I do? By the way I have no pain or bleeding anymore while urinating.
* As there is no pain on urinating or bleeding associated, I do not think major anatomic disturbances at this stage.
However, to rule out any minor disturbances underlying , a soft tissueultrasound of the penis with doppler flow evaluation for penile blood flow is highly recommended to look into the finer details ahead.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
