What Causes Weakness After Unprotected Intercourse?

I had unprotected sex a couple sex two days back. I felt a little weak the other morning and was feverish. My partner and I got the HIV 1 and 2 test done by card method with results as non reactive. Do we need to take another test down the line just to be sure. Also do I need to look for symptoms for any STD.. I feel fine though..?? I am a male and 24.

Hi,

You can rule out HIV if high risk exposure is there. After six week of exposure you have to investigate with combo CMIA or Fourth generation ELISA.

Card method will not give conclusive result so investigate with test as mentioned by me after six week of exposure. If no other symptoms like pus discharge in urine, ulcer over genital than STI seems less likely.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
