What Causes Weakness And Lack Of Energy After Having A Concussion?

I have had a concussion after being released from the hospital about five days later I got up one morning and felt weak and just drained of all of my energy I seem to be doing ok now but would those symptoms result from my concussion? And what other symptoms should I watch for in the future. mcdcamping@yahoo,com

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

These seem symptoms of vasovagal syncope. You are advised not to get up straight from bed, instead first sit for a minute or so and then get up.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
