What Causes Weakness And Numbness In The Breast After Lumpectomy?

I had a lumpectomy 3 wks ago. I am still very week, and I am having a lot of trouble with the skin on my upper underarm, and side of my breast. a lot of numbness at my breast also on my upper arm. How long can I expect to have this numbness, burning, and weekness. I don t know yet if I am going to have to take chemo yet or not, My Drs don t think so but my tests aren t back yet. I know I will be getting radiation treatments and then have to take the pills for 5 yrs. My tumor was less than 2 cm about l.6 cm.

It is quite common after lumpectomy.
