What Causes Weakness And Poor Appetite In A Child After Fever?
Hi doctor, my son is 1 year old, he has fever from last 4 days. he took head bath last Sunday and he got fever on tuesday of 103.7 F. Took him to doctor and he prescribed fenceto plus, respila, zedocfco, meftal p. when the medicine is given the temperature is low and after few hours it again goes up. He is getting weak day by day, is not taking proper food or milk. At times also vomiting, checked for teething one tooth is coming. almost five days of fever. kindly help me out.

I really appreciate your concern for your son, although this could be viral fever only, it is five days completed now, if the fever still continue then you need to get done the routine blood work for any secondary bacterial infection else this is nothing to work, everything would be fine soon, take care.
