Hi,

Canditral 100 mg contains itraconazole which belongs to the class of medications known as anti-fungal is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth, throat, vagina and other parts of body including finger nails and toenails by stopping the growth of fungus. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane. Its common side effects are nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, decreased urine output, muscle pain, increased thirst, mood swings etc. Its rare side effects are weakness, joint pain, hearing loss, tunnel vision, stomach pain etc.

If someone experiences such type of side effects, the prescribing doctor should be informed. Doctor may change this medication or continue it. To avoid developing resistance to this medication you should complete the dose of medication. Forecox contains isoniazid, rifampicin, ethambutol and pyrazinamide is a combination medication which is used to treat tuberculosis. It prevents the growth of the microorganisms that cause the infection.

Its side effects are nausea, vomiting, GIT upset, rash, fever, jaundice, peripheral neuropathy, joint pain, weakness, fatigue, nephro-toxicity, sweating, increased liver enzymes etc. These side effects usually pass after a few weeks as TB medication is continued. If any of the side effects get aggravated, consultation with the prescribing doctor should be needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
