What Causes Weakness, Anxiety And Disturbed Sleep In A Young Adult?
my daughter is weak, pale, anxious, and has trouble sleeping. She gets sick a lot. Her last blood test shows a ferretin level of 3, and a platelet level of 500. She will be seeing a hemotology specialist in a couple of weeks and I was wondering what they might be looking for. She is 29 yrs old, has had Epstein Barr and MRSA in the past

I think your daughter is suffering from secondary thrombocytosis due to iron deficiency anemia.
You should consult with the hematologist as soon as possible in order to get to know why iron is so low and the best ways to bring back to normal again.
