What Causes Weakness, Body Pain, Headache And Nausea?

Two and a half to three weeks ago my friend began feeling very weak and said she hurt all over, her muscles and her head all hurt. She said it hurt to hold the small take home dish I had given her. She fainted about 10 days ago. They put her in the hospital and gave her fluids. She says she feels nauseated all the time. Six days ago the doctor gave her steroid and antibiotic shots and gave her fluids again. She went back two days ago because she feels so badly. They will do an MRI today. Do you have any thoughts?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think she is having an electrolyte imbalance due to her symptoms. I wanted to know if she ever did the blood electrolytes balance. MRI should be done after all blood tests are completed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
