What Causes Weakness In Legs And Arms Along With Fatigue?

I fell down 2'ce this weekend. My doctor ruled out heart attack, stroke, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, neurological. My reflexes are good. My muscles responded ok. She literally couldn't find anything wrong and roll me so. But my legs and my arms are week and I am afraid of walking very far. I have a cane and it feels good to use it. Where do I go from here?

Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. You are showing weakness in legs, arms and have persistent fatigue. All tests like cardiac tests, blood pressure, blood sugar, neurological tests came norma. Neurological examination also came normal but still there is weakness in arms and persistent fatigue. As all tests and examination came normal so we can rule out any serious neurological illness. These symptoms can be explained by some anxiety attacks or some nutritional deficiencies. If your health is good then severe nutritional deficiency can be ruled out. Anxiety can also cause such symptoms which occur in episodes. This may present with weakness in limbs and persistent fatigue. Other possibility is some seizure. Atonic seizures result in loss of tone of muscles and may present with similar presentation. You have history of all also which can be explained by seizures. So please consult a neuropsychiatrist for proper evaluation and management of these symptoms.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
