General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the stress induced weakness in the leg to indicate various possible issues. The most common one is being vascular insufficiency from underlying atherosclerosis of major blood vessels at or below the level of aortic birfucation. Smoking, sedentary life style are major contributing factors for such presentation.

In my clinic, after thorough clinical examination of limb with peripheral pulses, I do suggest to get a color Doppler report of both of the lower limbs for best evaluation and further guidelines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
