Been on levothyroxine for a couple days noticed bone weakness i.e decrease in bone density. Skeleton body seems thinner and head smaller. One night my Weight down from 60.8 kg to 59.1. Weight usually fluctautes between 61-63 in past 3 years. I am a 25 year old male I help with boxes and groceries in and out of house. Thus, I might consider switching to natural desiccated thyroid. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, levothyroxine is good and preferable if no other side effects are being experienced.

You need to monitor thyroid levels regularly to avoid any over dosing related complications or osteoporosis etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
