What Causes Weakness In The Hands And Legs Along With Swollen Face?
hi I m Reynan 33 from Philippines, ofw in Riyadh saudi. last week my sebaceous cyst removed in my back and doctor gave me Ciprofloxacin 750mg 2x a day. after i finish 10 tablet for 5days i feel weakness in my hand and and legs, muscle twiches, swelling of face head ache feeling of vomiting but i did not vomit at all and pain in my right shoulder dryness of mouth and tasteless and some blisters in my toungue. I already stop taking cipro. how many days or week before the side effects will last. im so worried.Please help what can I do.. thank you very much in advance.
The narrated symptoms are due to side effect of Cipro.
Usually, the symptoms fade up within the next 48 hours, once the drug intake is stopped.
If persistent beyond this period, one must be evaluated for the blood test of WBC counts and creatinine level to consider it seriously and manage accordingly.
