What Causes Weakness In The Legs While Having Fibromyalgia?
My leg muscles have become spongey and are really weak and tired. I ve fibromyalgia but for the past 15 years have managed to maintain a reasonable if not good lifestyle through diet, yoga and general exercise. Is this part of the condition? Thank you.
Hi Thanks for posting your query on HCM weakness in legs could be a symptom of fibromyalgia but most patients tend to complain more of pain.I will say your symptoms is as a result of fibromyalgia. Many other conditions can however cause weak legs most of which are neurologic and metabolic problems but in your cases, given a past history of fibromyalgia, it is the mostly likely cause.Drugs might not always be the best way to go about most medical conditions.I will advise you continue with your life-style measures some of which may include: -Reduce stress -Get enough rest -Exercise regularly and pace yourself -Eat healthy food and limit caffeine intake. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
