What Causes Weakness While Suffering From Low Blood Pressure?

Hello- over the years, I have had trouble with bouts of extreme weakness and slurred speach... recently upon being in the hospital, my blood pressure was 70 something over some other low number and it happened- I wondered if this could be caused by low blood pressure, but I do not see it as a symptom anywhere?
