What Causes Weakness With Tinnitus And Dry Throat?

I have weakness in my back and neck, hot sensation in my back and legs. Noise in my head ringing noise. My throat sometimes feels dry and a burning sensation I also have panic attacks. I have been to my doctor and they are treating me for depression and anxiety with venlafaxine er 150 mg . Do you think I have been correctly diagnosed?

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, these signs are likely due to underlying psychiatric disorders or anxiety most likely but endocrine and Ear related causes should be ruled out. I suggest taking baseline sugar levels, thyroid profile, as well as serum electrolytes. Audiometry and maneuver for BPPV or nystagmus should be ruled out with a detailed review by an otolaryngologist. Meanwhile anxiolytics can be continued. Ginkobiloba and betahistidine can be helpful alongside.
