What Causes Weight Gain After Taking Primolut-N To Delay Periods?
I went to perform Umrah. Since it is a holy place and I can t pray in mosque in periods so I took primolute N 1 week before my periods were due. Still I got spotting when I reached there. In order to stop bleeding I took 2tab thrice a day for 3 to 4 days. I got my periods once I left taking medicine but am feeling a weight gain n body mass expension. Is this because of medicine since am on controlled diet and doing my exercise as well. How to get back into my normal shape. Please advise cause am v upset because of this swollen body.
The Primolute N has no side effect of weight gain, but the concerned feeling of heaviness in the body is due to underlying hormone disturbances caused by the consumption of medication. It will take a cycle period till next menses for your body shape to return to previous normal status.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
