What Causes Weight Gain Along With Urinary Incontinence?
I have recently (in about a month) gained about 12-13 pounds. I haven t been eating as healthy as I could, but I wouldn t say I over eat. In the past week, I ve noticed that I ve been peeing a lot! I went from peeing maybe 2-4 times a day to peeing 7-15 times a day. I m only 23, about 5 6, and last I checked I was up to 161.5 pounds. Should I be concerned??

What Causes Weight Gain Along With Urinary Incontinence?
Hello, The urinary incontinence can be related to the weight gain. Being overweight puts pressure on the bladder and contributes to urge incontinence. I suggest to do a urine test to exclude the possibility of an urinary tract infection which should be treated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
