General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, as there is weight gain and gynecomastia development after intake of Risperidone, the alternative atypical anti-psychotic has to be considered. The alternatives would be Olanzapine, Clozapine, Ziprasidone or Aripiprazole.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
