What Causes Weight Gain And Insomnia While On Inderal?

Ive been taking inderal due to cardio myopathy for around a year and a half, and have gained around 15 kilos from then although ive been eating less than i usually do. In addition to that, i have been suffering constant insomnia!! Is it in any way related?? Does it contain cortisone?? what should i and shouldn't i eat?
