What Causes Weight Gain, Constipation, Blurred Vision And Bloating In An Elderly Woman?
Any ideas, 60 year old female, very good physical shape, sudden acute constipation for 3 weeks, bowels going crazy. Oddly enough eye sight issues too, some blurred vision, very red eyes, and some cross eyed vision. Had pelvic exam today no results yet. Very bloated taking Miralax. Never any health problems in my life, do not feel right. With mural ax very tiny narrow stools occasionally.
Blurred vision may be because of cataract. You need to consult an opthalmologist for that.
Have you checked your blood pressure ? Long time hypertension can cause vision problems. Get BP checked regularly.
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini

What Causes Weight Gain, Constipation, Blurred Vision And Bloating In An Elderly Woman?
Hello dear. One of the Common side effects of Mirlax may include: 1. bloating, gas, upset stomach; 2. dizziness; or 3. increased sweating. Hence consult your doctor if the medication has to be changed. If the symptoms still persists then colonocopy may have to be done to rule out any pathology like intestinal obstruction, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis or chrons disease.
