Hello dr.. i m suffring from hypo thyrd.. since last 6 mnths my thyrd nt getting stable earlier b4 i ws takin thyrox 25 mg thn dirct 75 mg th agn 50 mg thn aftr rest of 15 days agn startd wid 12.5 as tsh got near 0.. thn i chngd dr nd recmnded thyronum.. earlier 25 3 days 50 mg rst 4 days in a week.. now taking 50 mg 7 days.. bt stil nt stable my weight is gainning nd gainning n nw hairfall startd too mch..wht to do ? Nd which medi z bst

Only hypothyroidism is not a cause for weight gain. Are you male or female? Since when you're suffering from above problem? PCOD, Cushing's syndrome or heart failure or steroids intake or genetic causes may cause weight gain. Please consult your endocrinologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
