What Causes Weight Loss And Imbalance While Walking After Taking Phenytoin?

Hi Last 15 days back my mom met with an accident and we had a CT scan though she had a head injury. The report shows she has meningioma on the left paretal.Doctor prescribed her Divva OD 500 &Phenytoin-100mg,flovite 5mg.But with in 15days of consumption she has sudden weight loss, imbalance while walking, loss of appetite. Can we stop taking this medicine????

Hello,

Some people experience balancing issues while on phenytoin. If you can not tolerate the side effects you can switch to an alternative like Levipil.
